Current Observations
My sightings and photos for today were minimal. Each was interesting in its own right - at least they were for me.
First I found this wildflower that appears to be something I have not seen before - a sidebeak pencilflower. This was found in our pollinator habitat, so I suppose anything is possible.
Next to be found was this purple prairie coneflower - again in our pollinator habitat. Based on these pictures, it appears the pollinator part is working, even though the pollinator is not pretty, like a butterfly.
Finally, I will include a photo of a great blue heron because I like GBHs and this action image.
