Not Skeeters, Ticks, Gnats, or Poison Ivy

None of the above were too challenging to force me to miss listening to, watching, and photographing a male blue-gray gnatcatcher. This little bundle of energy has his work cut out for him. Please Mr. Gnatcatcher… go after the skeeters and gnats. Show us how good you are!

The same challenges, with more emphasis on poison ivy, made it difficult to check the status of the green dragon blossom. But, with a little effort, bug swatting, and a watchful eye for poison ivy, I was able to find the plant and its very unusual blossom and wrap-around leaves.
