In the Rain
When it rains and pours and drizzles, wildlife eventually seems to accept they will get wet and begin to move around. Birds and bugs come out in big numbers. And, fungi began to appear and grow and capture my attention.
For the birds and darker fungi I focused my Nikon on them. For the golden oyster fungi I introduced my pocket knife. From my edible fungi find I was able to share golden oysters with two other households and Kristy and I enjoyed fresh fungi for our evening meal.
The Wapsipinicon River sure does host a variety of wildlife (and food)!
