Sweet Marsh Before the Wind (with a surprise)
In an effort to paddle before the wind kicked up this morning I was out on the water very early. A heavy cover of clouds obscured what little sunshine was present causing me to have to use a high ISO for my photos. I suppose slightly less clean images are better than none, so I will share what I saw today.

For a first time observation (at least that I can remember), today I shared Sweet Marsh with two folks on stand-up boards. I was hoping to see how they did in the exposed, open water where the wind was a challenge, but both stayed in the more calm area. I don’t blame them… it was cold out there!
