In a World of Similarities, It’s OK to be Different

When I saw what I presumed to be an oak tree surrounded by aspen trees today, my thoughts flashed back to an image I shot, probably decades ago, of an oak tree among pine trees.

My caption with that photo was, and this one could be, “In a World of Similarities, It’s OK to be Different.” In both pictures and in life, I still believe that to be true - In a world of similarities, it’s OK to be different!

For those wondering, yes, I know the image is very busy. Such is the case sometimes in the natural world. This woody area is not grazed so there is plenty of brush around the trees.
