Something magic is happening in our house!

In the past, live vegetation, greenery, plants had at best a 50/50 chance of survival. Often I think the odds were not in their favor. I can’t explain why, but we just did not have too good of luck when it came to seeing blossoms.

Now, we have blossoms… many blossoms, and we aren’t sure why. Our hibiscus tree is showing off with flowers on a regular basis. Our once near-death orchid is covered in blossoms or soon-to-be blossoms, the Easter cactus is about to explode with color, and, not to be outdone, even the Thanksgiving cactus is putting on a show for the Easter season.

I give all of the credit to Kristy. Whatever she has been doing has been good. The rewards for her effort are really adding a nice touch to our home. Thanks Kristy!

It is ironic that all of the blossoms are so showy today. Earlier I was talking to a friend about macro equipment and whether or not I want to continue to carry the extra weight. It was due to the macro equipment that I was able to record these images. With wildflower season just around the corner, I will continue to carry the gear. An answer was provided.
