When I Have Time… I Had Time

After returning from the John Beargrease Sled Dog Race a little more than a week ago, I have been waiting for time to record a frame grab or two or three from my night videos and pictures. With today’s much colder temperatures and strong winds, I had the time to mess with the videos rather than fighting the outside conditions.

There are many more frames that I could grab, but for now these work. I really like frame grab 3 (red light on dog). The picture says “cold, dark, night, race, and so much more.” One image clearly tells our story.

As for wildlife observations today… I saw and photographed a rooster ring-necked pheasant on the run and a couple of wild turkeys. All were heading away and none made ideal photos.
