Same Farmstead, Another View

Not too long ago I shared views of this old farmstead in rural Iowa. As I drove past it today I had to stop to document the cold, unwelcoming setting this offers. Snow is on the ground, the skies are a dark, drab gray, and a person can almost feel the cold temperatures and wind. A viewer might be able to sense the impending blizzard coming our way.

In just a few hours I would expect that falling and blowing snow will obliterate most views of this scene. It may be days before conditions are again as mild as we had this afternoon (which was not very mild).

I guess we are going to get to experience the worst in Iowa weather again very soon.
