Glimpses of Autumn

This morning, as I listened to our church message, I also appreciated my location at the Church of the Open Stream - in this case the Wapsipinicon River. First I paddled the upstream area from the dam, then I hiked the downstream section from the dam. Since the swinging bridge is now in place I could explore both sides of the river with ease.

Wildlife observations were limited to box elder bugs. Scenic images varied as you will see below. A couple of the photos were edited to be more artistic than reality.
