Quickly Slipping Away

If you are planning to check out fall colors for 2022 and have not done it yet, I suggest you get started very soon. Most, but not all, of the autumn leaves are on the ground. With this wind and the forecasted rain, what leaves remain will be severely threatened. The season of brown will soon be here, followed by the season of white.

After finishing up the winterizing of our camper and chopping leaves at the cabin, I went for a hike at Ingawanis Woodlands. I did not shoot too many pictures due to the howling wind. Of the few images recorded I photographed puffball fungi at close range and then did my best to capture bright red leaves surrounded by yellow leaves. I am not sure I was successful, but you get the idea.
