Thankful for Wind

Even though today’s winds were howling much faster than I appreciate, those winds proved to be a blessing. My brother and I hauled a canoe and kayak to the Mississippi River for a day of paddling. Relentless winds cut our trip short in less than an hour. Instead of going home, we secured the boats in the back of the truck and went exploring. Vibrant autumn colors were everywhere! The day was so beautiful and we enjoyed it by getting off the water. (By the way, is there any way to turn the many wind generators down. A breeze is fine; do they need to blow so hard?)
