Don't Follow Me, or Do Follow Me For Nature Pics
Whether I was walking, on the water, or driving today, you did not want to follow me. I stopped several times when I saw things that interested me.
Quaking Aspens in Autumn - This scene was right along a much-traveled highway with moderate traffic. The lone yellow tree in the sea of green caught my attention. Then as I studied the view, I imagined how this might be what it looks like now on some mountain range. Yes, I am using my imagination, but it works for me!
Outboard Motor with Wake - On the water you don’t want to follow me as I am shooting pics of my outboard motor and its wake. My goal has been to run my boat often enough that, even though I am leaving it in the water at the dock, the movement and force of water minimize the algae growth and staining. When I checked it tonight it was obvious I will be working on the hull with my power washer.
Autumn Ferns - Green. brown, or tan - I find the shapes and textures of ferns interesting.
Autumn Leaves on River - Even though I was running my outboard motor harder than normal, I did pause for photos when I saw nature’s palette of colors floating downstream. I find it so interesting that within a day or a few these leaves will either break apart or sink to the bottom to decompose. Nature’s fall colors are so fleeting.
Red Seeds - Next year’s wildflowers are right here, in this bundle of seeds. Where will the plants pop up after birds run the seeds through their systems? Nobody knows for sure!
