Macro Autumn Scene
Due to a day filled with training I had little opportunity to get out in “nature.” I made the best of it by exploring around a small pond not far from where I spent many hours. I suppose I could have photographed mallards or Canada geese on the pond, but neither thrilled me. Instead of giving up (I don’t give up too often), I switched to macro imaging. Of the tiny scenes found, this one topped my list since it really has quite a bit happening.
A person might see the autumn leaf, but there was also the leaf being caught in the spider web, the color contrasts, and the wondering of how long the leaf will remain intact under fall and winter weather conditions. The composition seemed to work for me.
