Recording Light

Anyone who watches the evening sky hopefully saw the August Super Blue Moon rising over the horizon tonight. The celestial event coincided with my monthly “Full Moon Paddle.”

After I got off the water I played around with recording light at night. Tonight’s sources included a street light, lights in a cabin, the full moon, and my canoe that I “painted” with my headlamp.

I will be honest… I am not sure if I even like the pictures much. But, I did experiment and I learned, so the effort was worthwhile.
