A Minute or So of Caution then an Explosive Reaction

Much of today was spent traveling with most of those miles on interstate highways. When I could I drove a couple of miles on a quiet blacktop road where I hoped to see wildlife, probably birds. Instead of seeing birds, I saw this doe with her two fawns. All three watched me for a long minute or more. Then, as if detonated, all three took off at the same time, flipping their tails up at me as they headed for cover.
