Several Topics

Since my post yesterday several activities have interested me that might also interest you.

Last night I was called about a young bald eagle that was not behaving as expected. Since the bird offered no resistance, this one was easy to catch and take to Black Wildlife Rehabilitation Project. I have not heard what, if anything, was learned when the bird saw a veterinarian.

I am now keeping my eye on a swan that may (or may not) have a wing issue. I am not able to discern if there are just feathers hanging off the one wing or something else. I will continue to watch it.

The protruding white feather does not seem consistent, depending on the swan’s position. Hopefully this is nothing.

Today I took delivery of a polarizing filter for the drone. This comparison image clearly shows how the filter minimizes reflections and enhances colors, depending on its position.

I also shot a some pictures today with the drone or my phone. The day I get use of my arm again will be a great day since then i will be able to use my Nikon equipment.
