Larger Than Life

By recording a 180-degree panoramic image, I can create a larger than life optical illusion of our cabin land area. In reality, the pond in front of our cabin isn’t too large. Compared to big water lakes, we are but a drop in the bucket. But, our pond is special to many of us.

What Indian Pond lacks in size it makes up for in personality. Most days the water is quiet. Sometimes the pond is filled with activity. You never know until you stand along the banks and watch. These were the views tonight. Indian Pond was quiet tonight. All was well.

Earlier today I was treated to an invasion of Hackberry Emperor butterflies. They were everywhere and a couple paused long enough for me to photograph them.
