Rising Water

Rising water pushes snakes (and other wildlife) out of their normal “safe” areas to less than ideal spots, like on the road.

Picking up snake to move them causes them to open their mouths… wide open.

Breathing on the snake causes their tongue to come out so the snake can “taste” you.

Sometimes the tongue comes all of the way out of their mouths.

Releasing the snake helps keep the rodent population in check.
