Equal Opportunity Outdoor Photographer
I have never hidden the fact that I am an equal opportunity outdoor photographer. My curiosity allows me to photograph so many various images. With each I attempt to make the subject look as good as possible. Now that the introduction has been addressed, I will share some of many pictures from the past couple of days.
Over the past couple of days ample time was enjoyed on the water. This mallard remained on the log as my kayak drifted close. The lighting and setting were nice so I documented an ordinary species.
Tonight I paddled with Crawdaddy Outdoors and their guests at Sweet Marsh for the annual “Mother’s Day” paddle outing. A storm was approaching that created dramatic skies, especially in black and white.
At the end of our paddle we were treated to one of the brightest rainbows (actually a double rainbow) that I have seen for a very long time. This rainbow even reflected on the water of Sweet Marsh.
Finally, I will end with an image most may not appreciate. This northern water snake - one of two - was sunning in a nice spot with a pleasing background. I had to record the moment from my kayak.
