Several Views of a Target Species

Before and after work today I invested time into photographing a bobolink - a member of the blackbird family. After several hours of work I can say that I was successful.

For tonight’s post I am going to share multiple views of this interesting bird. I will be honest, even though I have seen and photographed bobolinks before, I had not noticed how light the back feathers are. They almost look out of place, or at least more showy than one might expect when first seeing the bird from the front.

Since I was shooting pictures, and since I had a couple more species nearby, I photographed them too.
