Your Meal Is Served

Today a family member and I enjoyed a meal of chicken strips with potato wedges and a cheeseburger with all of the fixin’s (minus the onion). Our portions were ample… no, make that plenty, and we left satisfied.

The size and quality of our meal was no comparison to what this turkey vulture was feasting on. The bird was either so interested in fine dining to be distracted or too full to fly away when we stopped for photos. I suppose when you don’t know when your next roadkill delicacy will be found, you gorge yourself!

We should all be thankful for turkey vultures, bald eagles, and crows. Imagine how ugly and smelly our world would be with carrion rotting everywhere.
