Naomi and George

As I left for work this morning another beautiful surprise greeted me. George and Naomi - our two bald eagles that seemed to have claimed our yard - were perched side by side on a Norway spruce branch. By the time I had my camera ready to record the moment, one of them had already flown off.

We don’t know which bird is George and which is Naomi, but we assume Naomi is the eagle that spends more time watching how the farm is being maintained. That would be expected.

For those wondering, George and Naomi were the nicknames Kristy’s parents earned.
