A Good Idea Stopped By the Wind

Lately it seems like behind every good idea is a 35-mph wind with gusts near 50-mph. Such was the case today when I wanted to check the effectiveness of a simple camo-cover for my canoe. Was it asking to much to be able to paddle twenty or thirty yards into aquatic plants to “park” and wait for waterfowl to approach? Apparently Mother Nature thinks so and provided enough wind to be a deterrent to almost any outdoor activity. Dang wind…….. Anyway, this is the cover on my camo-canoe. I think it will do the job, assuming I too am in camo along with all of my gear.

Even though my photography was land-based today, I did find a few things to photograph.
