Forgotten Farmstead

This picture, on its own straight out of the camera without any editing, was rather mundane. My “clean” file accurately recorded the scene, but did not really induce much for thoughts.

After editing the image to create an aged appearance as the outbuilding has, the final composition is much more thought-provoking. Old… the picture says old.

Think of the stories that could be told from this location - when families toiled and relaxed, played and maybe squabbled. Imagine the history that is slowly fading away, just as this farmstead appears to be. Hopefully it will not be entirely forgotten, at least not yet.
