Waxworm Macros

Most of my daylight hours today were dedicated to healthcare time at the great healing place to the north. Since I needed a “Picture of the Day” I decided to document my waxworms’ conditions. In other words I shot close-up photos of tiny waxworms as I checked them for their health.

Waxworms are part of our home right now to accompany me when I go ice fishing. So far I have not fished much (too busy). Of the worms I have taken for a ride only one became a meal when I caught a bluegill. But the others I used did die trying… they gave it their all. The panfish just ignored them. How rude…
