The Only Movement Today Was My Camera
Unlike several days last week that were supposed to be “Five Star Days” for critter activities (fish to bite), today was a “One Star Day.” There is no doubt in my mind that little to nothing was moving around during the hours I was on the move on the river and in the woods. I did find several stationary compositions - fungi and a leaf in snow.

One movement observed was my “Intentional Camera Movement” technique. ICM is done by shooting with a longer exposure and moving your camera during the exposure. In today’s case I used a polarizing filter and a neutral density filter - along with a small aperture and low ISO - to create a long shutter speed. This image shows the winter timber with a veiled appearance.
