Eagle Flyover

While hiking at Sweet Marsh to check out the renovations at Sweet Marsh, this juvenile bald eagle flew over.

Not too far away I found this dead rodent on the dike. When I find dead critters like this, I wonder what ended its life and why the deceased was not consumed.
