Maybe Someday?

For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed most music. There are some genres that I will not listen to, but most styles get my ears depending on my mood.

As much as I like listening to music, I am not able to make music… at least not yet. Kristy bought me a guitar that I have not even begun to dabble with, but possibly this winter I will learn… maybe.

As I was doing my morning walk shortly after sunrise today I noticed my shadow stretching across the road and into the field past the ditch. I thought how if I had a guitar strapped on my back I might have the elements for an album cover (yes - a vinyl album) for my greatest hits compilation. Of course I would need a song with lyrics discussing “the long road” or “walking away” or “solo man” or something similar.

After that last paragraph I now have much to do - learn to play a guitar, write my songs (cannot read notes yet), play something others enjoy, and record greatest hits. That ought to get me through the winter! Maybe someday…
