Say it isn’t so… Resorted to Filtering

Yes, I know, it is Thanksgiving Day 2023. We are nearly through the month of November. Still, I am not ready for the ponds and rivers to freeze up. But Mother Nature does not care what I want or don’t want. Winter is coming.

Today, on my annual Thanksgiving Outdoor Outing, I paddled in the first ice of the fall of 2023. There wasn’t much and it was only in the calm, backwater areas, but ice has arrived. Soon my paddling will pretty much end for several months - especially with so little water to even consider paddling in.

The only way I could feature such a disappointing scene was to strongly edit the photo. Maybe when viewed as an “artsy” image is this scene acceptable.
