Major Geekness

As of today, I now have an obstacle avoidance strobe for my drone. One might think it would be easy to simply attach and fly at night. Oh no… now I am wondering about balance and the optimum location on the drone for stable flight.

Based on this outside test in the wind, the drone jumps all over. Was it the wind or the new weight? Time to study what others have learned.

When you are a technical geek, nothing is easy. There is always that question of how can I make it the best?
