No Floral or Fungal Spring Fever That I Could Find

These spring-like conditions are so pleasant! I am ready for this type of weather (or warmer) for the next eleven months!

Since I have “Spring Fever” I wondered today if maybe wildflowers and/or fungi located in warm areas might be reacting. In other words, I was looking for an over-achieving, early growing plant or fungus.

My hike (search) was enjoyable, but I did not find any plants emerging. As for fungi… I found plenty of older fungi and may have found some common puffballs trying to grow, but I cannot say that for sure. Still, I did find scenes to photograph and will share a sampling here.
