A Brisk, But Pleasant Hike

There are some days when you wake up and you just know you need to go for a hike. Today was one of those days for me. I did let the sun come up a bit and then hiked Cedar Bend Park (near Waverly) from the closed gate at the entrance near the maintenance shed to the far end and back along the Cedar River backwaters. Other than squirrels I saw no wildlife. I did shoot a few trail pics along the way. The temp was -2 when I got back to my truck.
