Not Skunked

There comes a time each winter when my “hunter/gatherer” skills are put to the test. Can I catch fish through the ice? Will I go all winter without a fish on the ice?

Well, today I proved that I will not get skunked this year. One puny little bluegill bit on my waxworm to assure I would not have a winter-long dry spell. I am thinking I might do better if I tried other bodies of water. That may start tomorrow.
