A Mix of Images Today – Something for Everyone
Once again I had one of those days when the weather created one challenge after another. The day began with fog. Initially the fog was not too thick, but that changed to the point of making any long distance vision challenging. Fortunately I spotted a few subjects close enough to photograph through the fog.

Whitetail Deer in Fog (Like the other day, the young deer was not easily seen until the doe took off):
During work I dealt with rain and more rain that led to flash flooding. These images are from the flooded Iowa Firefighters Convention grounds. Notice the water is bumper deep in some places.

Rainy conditions continued off and on through the afternoon, but I still shot a few photos.

Rain on Fungi:
Sandhill Cranes (in almost their natural color, instead of their typical iron stained orange):
For the hard to please persons viewing this page, I shot a picture of a spider near her egg sacks. Just think, in no time at all her thousands of little ones will be scurrying around, possibly in the same places you might be!
