Dodging Rain Drops
After waiting for a forecast that didn’t include rain, I finally accepted the risk of getting wet and paddled some on Sweet Marsh this afternoon. I lost the bet with Mother Nature and was rained on not once, but twice. The rewards for the risk were seeing birds I seldom see and plants that are accenting the wild habitat of Sweet Marsh.

Fragrant Water Lilies (I don’t remember ever seeing two blossoms side by side.)
