Less for the Picture, More for the Conversation
Confession time… I do not spend enough time communicating with my good neighbors. It seems I always have more things to do than minutes to do them. As a result, I often see my neighbors only as a blur as I run from one activity to another.
Tonight I took a few minutes to talk to a couple of my neighbors. Good conversation is worthwhile and good neighbors are a blessing. One of my good neighbors is “Green Thumb Ruby.” I have described her before, but for those who may not have seen it, Ruby can grow just about anything.
A specialty of Ruby’s is flowers…many varieties. As Ruby and I caught up since we last talked, I photographed some of her flowers. Even though phlox are common, I found her pink and white phlox especially pretty as they were lit by a late afternoon sun. Thanks Ruby for sharing your flowers and thank you for being an exceptional neighbor!
