Clearing The Head

The past few days at work have been challenging. Folks who have followed the news media for this area know what I am referring to. Working such cases are emotionally challenging and tend to be stressful. After two full days and with at least one more coming up, I decided it was time to get out on the water to think about something else.

Since the sun now sets too early, I was not out all that long. While on the water I did find a few things to photograph. There was no commonality associating the images, other than each being created on the Wapsipinicon River in Northern Bremer County.

I want to comment that on outings like tonight – when I see very little wildlife – I enjoy the challenge of finding other interesting subjects to explore and photograph. Tonight was not easy, but I did find things to draw my attention and clear my head.
