DItch Blossoms

During my drive home tonight from the river I noticed a couple of plant species blooming for the first time in 2019. My favorite of the two were the Turk’s cap lilies. There is just something special about the blossoms that curl back to nearly touch the stem.

Also in bloom are the Queen Anne’s Lace. This plant grows profusely and is sometimes considered a weed.
