Today’s wildlife observations/photography were all over the board. Shortly after the sun lit the landscape, I was out to enjoy it. Near the entrance to Sweet Marsh east of Tripoli I found these pretty settings. All that was missing was wildlife. In a month or two that will change.

While I was out I checked a local bald eagle nest. I saw no birds, but I did notice fresh wood added to the nest.

Later in the day Kristy and I drove through George Wyth State Park. Near the entrance we watched this pretty red-shouldered hawk that I have probably photographed many times. This time, not only did it pose for us, but then it began to call. I switched from still photos to a video. I apologize for the movement. There was no tripod with me.

Further into the park we found a muskrat feeding on the edge of the ice.
