Heading North and Heading Nowhere
As I paddled today my company, along with Jason and Scott, were numerous yellow-rumped warblers and “cheeping” brown creepers. The warblers are here only for the short term as they move northward to nest in far Northern Minnesota and Canada. Other warbler species may be here too, but I have not seen them yet.
One bird seen today that is going nowhere was this pink flamingo. It appears to be beyond recovery.
