A Cold Morning Big Woods Lake Wildlife Extravaganza
Yesterday I paddled my kayak at Big Woods Lake and saw a variety of wildlife. Unfortunately, I was forced to shoot the pictures against a gray sky due to weather conditions. When I saw this morning that our sky was bright blue and cloud free, I decided to return to Big Woods Lake to shoot pictures of the same species under better conditions. Not only did I see the same species, but I added images of two additional species as well.
Note: I did not photograph all species I saw, just the easy birds.
Second Note: I fine-tuned my camo-covered kayak before this outing. That Canada geese and a mallard would remain in the grass as I floated past tells me I might be getting close on a good match with the local habitat.
